This course provides a detailed explanation of 3D-to-2D character modeling, materials, texturing, painting, skeletalization, lighting, and rendering. It offers methods for creating over 100 cartoon materials and uses three examples to explain in a clear and concise manner how to create a 3D model from scratch and ultimately achieve a 3D-to-2D effect comparable to hand-drawn anime. Blender has significant advantages in cartoon rendering, capable of efficiently rendering animation at frame rates exceeding 60fps, and can also be used as intermediate software to collaborate with 3ds Max, Maya, and other similar programs.
