Videohive – Mask Transitions – 12 Subject Cut-Out Transitions with One Simple Mask – 65774322

12 subject cut-out transitions for After Effects with one simple mask. The person or object of the next clip, cut out with one rough mask, appears with a white flash and flies in over the current clip as a flickering black & white freeze frame. The background whips to the next clip and the colour comes back on the cut.

Copy a block from the library, paste it on your cut, draw one rough mask with the Pen tool – done. Full HD, 4K and Vertical, any frame rate, sound effects included, no plugins.

• 12 transitions: Slide Left, Slide Right, Rise Up, Drop Down, Spin In, Zoom In, Zoom Out, Fade Through, Light Zoom, Light Sweep, Punch In, Diagonal Whip
• One simple mask: click a rough outline around the subject with the Pen tool (G) – no rotoscoping, no tracking
• Multiple masks: up to 3 masks per transition – several subjects of one clip fly in together
• Draw Mask checkbox: the viewer shows the clean frame of the next clip while you draw
• Freeze-frame look: flickering black & white textured still, colour comes back on the cut
