In this course, you will learn the essential materials needed for watercolor painting, proper brush care and maintenance, and six fundamental watercolor techniques including wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, flat wash, gradient wash, color blending, and lifting. Each technique is explained in an easy-to-follow manner, making this course suitable for complete beginners and hobby artists.
Once you are comfortable with the techniques, we will apply everything learned to create a beautiful underwater sea turtle painting. Together, we will draw the turtle, paint the shell and body, create an ocean background, add sand, sea plants, fish, and final details to complete the artwork.
