Every time you ask Claude to make an image, you either pay per image or hit a limit. What if Claude Code could generate as many claude images as you want, for free, right on your Mac?
This course shows you how. You will connect Claude Code to Draw Things, a free local image app for Mac, using MCP (Model Context Protocol). Once it’s set up, you can ask Claude Code to generate images directly inside your terminal — no API key, no per-image cost, no cap on how many you make. Here’s the problem most people run into: they want claude code image generation, but they don’t know how to connect an LLM tool like Claude Code to an image model without paying for OpenAI or Google APIs. They try random tutorials, get stuck on Node.js errors, or give up when the MCP command doesn’t run.
This course fixes that. You will go step by step:
First, you install Draw Things on your Mac and turn on its local API server. This app runs image generation right on your machine, using your own hardware, so there’s no ongoing cost. Next, you set up Node.js and Git the easy way. These two tools are required to run the MCP server that connects Claude Code to Draw Things. You don’t need to know how to code. You just follow the exact steps shown in this course.
