Start building in TinkerCAD with a clear, practical introduction to 3D design, Sim Lab and circuits. This beginner course is taught in English and follows a step-by-step path from finding your way around the workspace to creating models, exploring mechanical motion and building a simple circuit. Begin with the TinkerCAD interface, account settings and design creation. Learn how to navigate the workspace, create objects, adjust grid and snap settings, and move, rotate and scale your designs. Practice alignment and mirroring so that your models are easier to organize and edit. Next, work with basic shapes and understand Copy versus Duplicate. Explore the transition from 2D sketches to 3D models, try freeform modeling with Scribble, and create repeated forms with radial and matrix arrays. Add text and QR codes to personalize designs, compare Group and Union, and learn how to import, export and share projects.
The Sim Lab section introduces motion through a tracer, a slide, a trebuchet, a car with axle connectors, slider and pivot connectors, and a gear wheel. The final section introduces TinkerCAD circuit simulation and the creation of a simple circuit. This course is for beginners, students, educators and makers who want to learn through focused demonstrations rather than jump into advanced CAD or electronics. You need a computer, internet access, a browser and a TinkerCAD account. No previous CAD or electronics experience is required. Follow the demonstrations, pause to try each tool in your own workspace, and use the sequence as a foundation for your own design experiments. The course focuses on the tools and projects listed in the curriculum; it does not require a physical 3D printer or electronics kit.
