Seth Godin has been living on the cutting edge of media and technology for more than forty years. In this short and powerful course (more of a rant, actually) he’ll share an attitude shift that’s open to each of us.
AI is coming, faster than any powerful technology in human history. It’s natural and appropriate to be hesitant and even fearful, but once again, this shift is going to create a gap.
Right here and right now, we each have a chance to lean into the opportunity that the change offers us.
Instead of tips and tricks, this lecture takes you through the building blocks of shifting your approach to AI.
When the internet was new, people thought it was a sideshow. The early projects weren’t of much import, but as it became clear that something real was happening, sites like Amazon, Yahoo and Google arrived. All of these were tiny at first, just a few people chasing a big idea.
AI is more decentralized than this. You don’t need venture capital or a building or a team. All that’s needed is access to tools (which is already happening–if you can read this you already have the tools) and a shift in our attitude.
That’s where this course comes in. All the courses in the world about the tactics and tech of AI are worthless if we’re not ready to embrace the change that they bring.
There’s a very brief window of time. In this moment, right here and right now, some folks are eagerly starting projects, building assets and creating values. Others, in a pattern we’ve seen again and again, are waiting, fearfully, ignoring what’s happening and hoping for the best.
You can do this. Right here, right now. Make a ruckus.
