Far from being a morbid relic, the Book of the Dead reveals a civilisation’s advanced understanding of death, morality, and the human soul.
Learn about the cosmology and myth of Egypt and how the Gods came to rule over the sacred land. Find out why they were praised and associated with the dead. Through the translations of Egyptologist E.A. Wallis Budge, vivid imagery, and archaeological insights, we will explore the spectacular spiritual beliefs of the Egyptians, their concept of the soul and body, and the symbolic meaning behind famous scenes like the Weighing of the Heart.
