Smart contracts are a core component of blockchain and Web3 development, enabling decentralized applications, DeFi solutions, NFTs, and token-based ecosystems. This smart contract development course is designed for developers, software engineers, IT professionals, blockchain enthusiasts, and learners who want to build practical skills in smart contract development using Ethereum and Solidity. You’ll begin by learning the fundamentals of Solidity and exploring how smart contracts work within the Ethereum ecosystem. You’ll then become familiar with essential development tools, including Remix, MetaMask, Etherscan, and Hardhat.
The course provides practical experience with the smart contract development lifecycle, including creating projects, configuring Hardhat, working with Hardhat tasks and Ignition, deploying contracts to test networks, and understanding deployment workflows. You’ll also learn smart contract testing using JavaScript, Mocha, Chai, and Hardhat testing tools. The course emphasizes practical development and helps you understand important approaches for writing, testing, and deploying smart contracts. A hands-on ERC20 token project brings the concepts together. You’ll work with OpenZeppelin libraries, the ERC20 token standard, access control, token minting, testing, deployment, and contract verification.
