This course contains the use of artificial intelligence. The English narration is a synthetic voice reading the instructor’s own script; every movement is demonstrated by the instructor himself. Xi Sui Jing (洗髓经), the “Marrow Washing Classic”, is one of the two legendary internal training methods attributed to Bodhidharma (Da Mo), the Indian monk who brought Chan Buddhism to the Shaolin Temple in the 6th century. Its companion, Yi Jin Jing, transforms the muscles and tendons. Xi Sui Jing goes one level deeper: it guides Qi into the bones to cleanse the marrow, and upward to the brain to strengthen the spirit. For centuries this method was passed on to only a handful of disciples in each generation. In this course it is taught openly, movement by movement, exactly as practised in our Shaolin school in Greece.
You will learn:
- The complete Xi Sui Jing sequence, demonstrated from the front, from behind and from the side
- The breathing method that makes the exercises internal rather than external
- Close-ups of the hand positions on the head and neck
- The history of the two classics and the theory of the marrow in Chinese medicine
- How to combine Xi Sui Jing with Yi Jin Jing in a daily practice
