This course contains the use of artificial intelligence. This comprehensive course on SAP BTP Integration Suite Essentials equips learners with a strong functional and architectural understanding of how modern enterprises connect applications, data, and business processes across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The course begins with an overview of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and highlights the strategic role of Integration Suite within the ecosystem.
Learners explore the evolution of SAP’s integration capabilities—from SAP Cloud Platform (SCP) to today’s unified Integration Suite—and gain insight into why seamless integration is critical in organizations running distributed systems, legacy environments, and cloud-native applications. A key focus is understanding integration challenges in hybrid landscapes, including data security, API access control, and managing third-party connectivity.
The course dives into the full capabilities of Integration Suite, covering Cloud Integration for designing iFlows, working with adapters, transforming messages, and monitoring integrations. Learners also gain hands-on conceptual exposure to API-led connectivity: designing, publishing, and securing APIs with throttling, rate-limiting, and policy enforcement through API Management.
The course introduces Open Connectors for simplified third-party SaaS integrations, Event Mesh for event-driven patterns and pub/sub messaging, and Integration Advisor for building industry-standard mappings and EDI/B2B scenarios. Connectivity across on-premise and cloud systems is explored through Cloud Connector, along with foundational security topics including OAuth2, certificates, SAML, and secure tunnel architecture.
Throughout the course, students learn various integration styles—process, data, event-driven, and B2B/EDI—each illustrated through business scenarios. They also examine how Integration Suite integrates with s4 hana and leading external systems such as Salesforce and ServiceNow. Real industry examples from Retail, Automotive, and Pharma demonstrate practical applications, helping learners understand how to design robust, scalable, and secure integrations that support digital transformation.
