Udemy – Real-World Enterprise Network: Firewall, L3, VLAN & Failover

In the real world, network design goes far beyond basic VLANs and static routing. This hands-on course takes you through a complete enterprise-grade lab environment — covering not just switching and routing, but firewall integration, HA failover, VLAN segmentation, and redundancy across dual data center

What You’ll Build & Learn:

• VLAN segmentation and on enterprise-grade switches
• FortiGate firewall initialization and high availability (HA) setup
• LACP port-channel configuration (on switches and firewall)
• Spanning Tree Protocol (STP)
• NAT, firewall policies, and outbound internet access
• Real failover testing and verification of HA setup
• Design considerations for dual-DC and campus connectivity

Who This Course Is For:

• Network engineers and IT professionals who want real-world configuration skills
• Certification candidates (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Fortinet NSE) seeking applied design labs
• Anyone interested in how routing, switching, failover and firewalling integrate in production networks
  Why This Course Is Different:
• Unlike certification-only content, this course focuses on integration and architecture — exactly how modern networks are designed and built in enterprise environments.
• You’ll get:
  • Step-by-step lab walkthroughs
  • Realistic topologies and design logic
  • Vendor-flexible thinking: FortiGate, Cisco
  • A clear view of how all layers work together

By the end of this course, you’ll have a strong foundation in building, validating, and understanding enterprise-grade network infrastructure — with practical skills you can apply immediately. This course is based on a real-world enterprise lab series developed to give learners hands-on skills in routing, switching, firewalls, and high availability
