Welcome to Real-World AWS Development, a hands-on course where you’ll go beyond isolated tutorials and build a complete, integrated cloud application from the ground up — just like in a real software project.
Starting with your local development environment, you’ll set up Python, Visual Studio Code, Postman, AWS CLI, SAM, and Amazon Q for AI-powered coding assistance. From there, each chapter introduces a new AWS service and shows how it fits into a larger system — including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
You’ll implement business logic, automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation & SAM), and apply Test-Driven Development with pytest. Along the way, you’ll also integrate AI services like Amazon Bedrock, Textract, and Translate, giving your application intelligence that can chat, extract text, and translate job offers dynamically.
By the end, you’ll understand how AWS components connect to form a scalable, secure, and observable serverless architecture. You’ll deploy, test, and monitor real Lambda functions, manage permissions with IAM, and keep costs under control using AWS Free Tier and billing alerts.
Whether you’re new to AWS or aiming to level up as a cloud developer, this course gives you the skills and confidence to design, build, and ship real-world AWS applications in Python.
What Will You Learn:
- Design, build, test, and deploy modern AWS applications using Python.
- Use AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3 to create a full cloud architecture.
- Integrate AI services like Amazon Bedrock, Textract, and Translate into real projects.
- Implement serverless patterns and automate deployments with AWS SAM and CloudFormation.
- Apply Test-Driven Development with pytest and manage code in a professional workflow.
- Secure and monitor your system using IAM, CloudWatch, and AWS billing alerts.
Who Is This Course For:
- Developers who want to move from tutorials to real AWS projects.
- Python programmers aiming to expand into serverless and AI cloud development.
- Students preparing for AWS Developer or Solutions Architect certifications.
- Engineers who want to understand how AWS services integrate in production systems.
Why Take This Course?
Most courses stop at “Hello World.” This one builds a complete, business-ready application with real requirements — from storing job offers in DynamoDB to extracting data with Textract and enhancing user experience with Bedrock AI. You’ll gain practical skills that transfer directly to real jobs.
