This course is designed specifically for architects, architecture students, and computational designers who want to learn Python in a practical, project-based way. Instead of teaching Python with generic examples, every concept is applied directly inside the Grasshopper Python Script Editor using Rhino.
Starting from the fundamentals, you will learn variables, data types, loops, conditions, functions, and object-oriented programming before progressing to advanced topics such as recursion, list comprehensions, lambda functions, and custom classes.
You will also learn how to create and manipulate geometry using both RhinoScriptSyntax and the RhinoCommon API (Rhino.Geometry), enabling you to build powerful scripts for parametric modeling and workflow automation. Throughout the course, you will complete practical exercises that reinforce each topic and help you develop real programming skills for architectural applications.
