Do you want to build automated, reliable, and production-ready data workflows? Prefect 2.0 is one of the most modern and powerful orchestration tools used by data engineers, analysts, and developers. In this course, you will learn how to design, build, schedule, and deploy real-world workflows using Prefect — even if you are a complete beginner.
This hands-on course takes you step-by-step through the core concepts of Prefect. You will start with understanding workflows and project flowcharts, then move into Prefect fundamentals such as flows, tasks, blocks, parameters, caching, and retries. After that, you will build your first end-to-end flow and explore orchestration features like scheduling, notifications, and monitoring using Prefect Cloud.
The highlight of this course is a Mini ETL Project, where you will design and deploy a real ETL pipeline using Prefect. You will learn how to extract data, transform it, load results, and then deploy and manage the pipeline in production using Prefect Deployments.
By the end of this course, you will be confident in creating your own automated workflows, scheduling ETL jobs, and using Prefect to manage data pipelines used in real companies. This course is perfect for beginners, students, and professionals looking to upskill in modern data engineering.
