Automation used to mean choosing between two extremes – simple drag-and-drop tools that hit a wall the moment your logic got complex, or full custom code that took a developer to build and maintain. n8n changes that. It’s a visual, node-based automation platform that scales from a two-step Slack notification all the way to a production-grade AI agent that reasons, calls APIs, and takes action — and you can drop into code any time the visual canvas isn’t enough.
This course takes you from zero to production, with real, hands-on demos for every concept – no slides-only theory. You’ll set up n8n from scratch (Docker, SSL, the works), build increasingly complex workflows, integrate AWS and Google Workspace, master core logic and error handling, and then move into the part most courses skip entirely: building real AI agents and real DevOps/SRE automation.
By the end, you won’t just know how n8n works — you’ll have shipped four complete, portfolio-ready projects:
- A RAG-based AI agent with a vector database, answering questions from real, private data
- An SRE monitoring and alerting pipeline that investigates incidents automatically
- An infrastructure health-check system integrating GitHub and Ansible
- A server-provisioning workflow with human-in-the-loop approval and reusable sub-workflows
