This course is a complete, step-by-step guide to learning Machine Vice Part Modeling, Assembly Modeling, and 2D Drafting using Solid Edge. Designed for beginners and intermediate learners, this practical course walks you through modeling each component of a machine vice using real-world engineering methods.
You will start by creating individual parts (Part 1 to Part 9) while learning essential Solid Edge tools such as sketches, constraints, extrudes, revolves, patterns, mirroring, and feature editing. Each part is explained clearly so that even new users can follow with ease.
After completing all the components, you will assemble them to build a fully functional Machine Vice Assembly, learning assembly constraints, alignment methods, and best practices. The course ends by teaching you professional 2D drafting, including views, dimensions, annotations, and title blocks.
Master Solid Edge by building a real mechanical project from scratch!
In this hands-on course, you will learn how to model every part of a Machine Vice, assemble it, and create detailed 2D drawings. Perfect for engineering students, CAD beginners, and designers looking to strengthen their modeling skills. No prior experience required—just follow the clear, guided steps and build your confidence with every lesson.
By the end of this course, you will have the skills to model mechanical parts, create assemblies, and produce engineering drawings confidently—just like in an actual mechanical design job.
