This course is designed to help you master GeoPandas and modern Python GIS workflows through practical, real-world projects. You will learn how to process, analyze, clean, manipulate, and visualize geospatial vector data using Python from scratch. Throughout the course, you will work with Shapefiles, GeoJSON, CSV data, and coordinate systems in professional GIS workflows. You will perform spatial joins, overlays, buffering, clipping, reprojection, and advanced geoprocessing tasks.
The course focuses on practical implementation instead of only theoretical concepts. You will build 5 complete GIS projects based on real-world geospatial analysis scenarios. These projects will simulate workflows used in mapping, urban planning, and spatial data processing industries. You will also learn best practices for organizing and managing Python GIS projects efficiently.
GeoPandas will be integrated with Pandas and Matplotlib for analysis and visualization workflows. By the end of this course, you will be ready for advanced fields like Web GIS, spatial data science, and geospatial development.
