Welcome, I’m Dr. Thomas Viviano, and I’m excited to guide you through this course on Designing and Constructing Relay Logic Programs using The Constructor Ladder Logic Software by CMH. This course is designed to give you the knowledge and hands-on practice needed to confidently build, test, and troubleshoot ladder logic systems that mirror real-world industrial applications.
Who This Course Is For This program is ideal for: – Electricians and apprentices looking to sharpen their skills – Design engineers seeking practical tools to bring their ideas to life – Both novices and professionals who want to better understand the fundamentals and applications of ladder logic Why Use This Software The Constructor software is a powerful teaching and design tool built for real-world applications.
If your circuit works in this software, you can be confident it will work in the field. It provides a safe and accurate environment to experiment, practice, and refine your skills before applying them to live equipment.
Key Features You’ll Explore – Easy-to-read ladder logic layouts that keep designs clear and professional – Working inputs with sound and visual effects for realistic simulation – Multiple power supply options including both single- and three-phase systems – A comprehensive symbol library with everything you’ll need: * Switches, motors, relays, coils, and contacts * Horns, lights, transformers, fuses, and pushbuttons * Circuit breakers, counters, and electronic components * PLC inputs/outputs, VFDs, and much more Prerequisites To get the most from this course, you should have a basic background in electrical fundamentals. If you’re brand new, I recommend starting with some of my introductory courses first.
This program also serves as an excellent prerequisite for PLC training, helping you build a strong foundation before moving into more advanced automation topics. I look forward to guiding you through this course and helping you gain the confidence and skills to design ladder logic programs that truly work in practice.
