As the automotive industry rapidly transitions toward hybrid mobility, the demand for specialized technicians equipped to handle complex hybrid transaxles has never been higher. This intensive, hands-on training course is meticulously designed to provide automotive professionals with comprehensive expertise in Hybrid Power Split Transmissions (often referred to as eCVT). Central to modern hybrid architectures, the power split device (a specialized planetary gearset) seamlessly manages power distribution between the internal combustion engine and the electric motor-generators (MG1 and MG2).
Throughout this program, participants will dive deep into the mechanical, electrical, and electronic intricacies of these systems. We cover everything from initial diagnostic procedures and identifying hybrid-specific fault codes to complete teardown, mechanical inspection, and precision reassembly. By bridging the gap between advanced theoretical concepts and practical workshop applications, this course ensures that technicians can confidently troubleshoot, repair, and maintain power split gearboxes, resolving complex failures safely. Whether you are aiming to upgrade your workshop’s service offerings or align your technical skills with the latest industry standards, this specialized training provides the foundational knowledge and practical confidence required to excel in hybrid drivetrain engineering.
