Making the right hiring decision is critical to every organization’s success. Yet many interviews still rely on intuition, first impressions, or hypothetical questions that do not truly reflect how someone will perform on the job. This Behavioral Event Interviewing (BEI) Certification Program equips you with a scientifically proven method to evaluate candidates based on what they have actually done — not just what they say they will do.
Rooted in psychology and the competency framework, BEI provides clear, structured techniques to uncover past behaviors that accurately predict future results. In this course, you will learn how to identify key competencies for a role, build strong behavioral questions, apply STAR-based probing, and conduct interviews that are both fair and insightful. You will also discover how to rate responses objectively using the ORCE methodology, helping you reduce bias and make consistent talent decisions with confidence.
With practical tools like interview guides, templates, checklists, rating scales, quizzes, and a mock interview activity — this course ensures you can immediately apply BEI in hiring, promotions, succession planning, and development discussions. By the end of this course, you will be able to interview like a pro, select the right talent faster, and significantly improve organizational performance through better hiring choices.
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
