This hands-on workshop takes a different approach from a traditional course. Instead of learning one technology in isolation, we’ll bring multiple tools together and use an AI coding agent inside Cursor to take a project through the entire journey from code to cloud. And there’s another important difference: we won’t hand-write the application or infrastructure code ourselves. We’ll start with an empty folder and direct an AI agent to scaffold a Next.js application. From there, we’ll containerize it with Docker, define its AWS infrastructure using Terraform, push everything to GitHub, and create a GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline that automatically builds and deploys the application.
Finally, we’ll connect our own domain and configure HTTPS so that our application is accessible through a real URL with a valid certificate.
