This hands-on course provides a practical introduction to generative AI using Amazon Bedrock, AWS’s fully managed service for building applications with foundation models. If you’ve ever wanted to explore generative AI on AWS, compare foundation models, build applications grounded in your own documents, or create AI agents, this course is for you.
We focus on learning by doing. There are no theory-heavy slides or endless explanations. Instead, you’ll work directly with Amazon Bedrock, primarily through the AWS Management Console, using the same tools and workflows available to developers and cloud engineers. You’ll start by understanding what Amazon Bedrock is and how foundation models fit into modern generative AI applications.
Then we’ll move straight into practice. You’ll explore foundation models available through Bedrock, including Anthropic Claude and Amazon Nova models, and compare their behavior directly using the Bedrock playgrounds.
