“This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.” Have you ever wanted to connect your Android smartphone or tablet to external devices like sensors, motors, or lights? The Google Accessory Development Kit (ADK) makes that possible — and this course will teach you how!
In this beginner-friendly, hands-on course, you’ll explore how Android devices can communicate with custom-built USB accessories using the ADK platform. You’ll learn the core concepts of hardware–software integration, how to design circuits, send and receive data between devices, and build real-world interactive projects.
Starting with the fundamentals of Android communication protocols, you’ll move on to understanding ADK hardware components, Arduino integration, and how to write Android apps that talk to your hardware. Whether you want to automate your home, design smart IoT prototypes, or simply learn the basics of Android hardware control, this course provides a complete foundation.
By the end, you’ll have the skills to build your own custom Android accessory, connect it to your phone, and create interactive applications that bridge the gap between the digital and physical worlds.
This is the perfect course for tech enthusiasts, developers, and students eager to expand their Android development skills into the exciting realm of hardware.
