Welcome to part two of the hilarious adventures of the Dupré family — a household navigating everyday life with a strong-headed dog, a grumpy relative, and a pair of typically dramatic teenagers. This intermediate-level course helps you boost your French reading skills fast with 25 engaging, idiom-packed short stories that build on what you learnt in the beginner course.
New here? If you’re not yet familiar with the Dupré family, I highly recommend starting with the beginner course — French Mastery through Short Stories: A Beginner’s Course — especially if you’re still building your foundation in French.
Did you know that over 75% of individuals attempting to learn a new language give up due to lack of engagement and the daunting prospect of memorisation? This staggering statistic highlights the need for an innovative approach to language learning.
The traditional methods of learning French can often leave beginners feeling overwhelmed, bored, and frustrated. Hours spent memorising grammar rules and vocabulary lists can make the process seem endless and the goal unattainable. Enter French Mastery through Short Stories: An Intermediate Course. This bitesize course is designed to break the mould, offering a fun, engaging, and effective way to learn French. By focusing on short stories, you’ll immerse yourself in the language, picking up vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation naturally.
By enrolling in this course, you will:
- Deepen your understanding of French through rich, story-based reading
- Master idiomatic expressions and advanced verbs used in everyday French
- Build confidence reading and interpreting natural, conversational French
- Boost your listening skills with audio and video versions of every story
Our course stands out because of its unique approach and proven results. I’ve been teaching French for nearly 3 decades, and my methods have helped hundreds of students achieve fluency. But don’t just take my word for it. Here are what some of our students have to say:
- “I never thought I could learn a new language, but this course proved me wrong. It’s amazing how fast I’ve progressed.” – Emily R.
- ” I really like the format of this challenge. I particularly enjoy the visual aides you’ve created to help emphasize the important bits. The color coding of words and phrases plus underlining the liaisons has been a real eye opener for me.” – Kevin C.
- “Being able to read the stories while listening has significantly improved my listening skills. I can now understand French conversations much better.” – David K.
- “My grand-daughter is also using the stories and enjoying them. She hates French at school. They are good for training your ears to spoken French ” – John W.
