Bring your Figma designs to life with professional UI animation and motion design! A great interface isn’t just about how it looks, but also about how it moves. Thoughtful motion can guide attention, communicate feedback, explain transitions, and make digital experiences feel more polished and intuitive. In this project-based course, you’ll learn how to use Figma Motion to transform static interface designs into engaging animations and micro-interactions.
We’ll begin with the fundamentals. You’ll learn what Figma Motion is, where motion fits into the broader UI/UX design workflow, how to navigate the interface, and how to prepare your project correctly for animation. From there, you’ll build the UI components you’ll animate and learn how to organize your layers to create a cleaner, more efficient animation workflow.
Then it’s time to bring everything to life. You’ll create your first animation and learn how to animate essential properties such as position, scale, and opacity. You’ll explore timing, duration, and easing to understand what makes movement feel smooth and natural, before combining and sequencing multiple elements into more sophisticated interactions.
