Welcome to CISPR 24 Compliance Training, a technical learning course designed to help students, engineers, technicians, and working professionals understand electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) immunity testing requirements for Information Technology Equipment (ITE). In today’s electronic environment, equipment is exposed to electromagnetic disturbances from power systems, communication networks, radio-frequency sources, and other electrical devices. Understanding immunity testing is essential for evaluating how equipment performs when exposed to these disturbances.
This course introduces the fundamentals of CISPR 24 immunity testing and explains the test methods, technical parameters, performance criteria, measurement arrangements, and compliance considerations in a clear and structured manner. You will learn how different immunity phenomena are applied to various equipment ports, including enclosure ports, signal ports, telecommunications ports, DC power ports, and AC power ports.
The course also explains the significance of Performance Criteria A, B, and C, helping you understand how equipment behavior is evaluated during and after immunity testing. A dedicated section covers telephony immunity testing, including acoustic measurement methods, Sound Pressure Level (SPL), Reference Level Method, analog line demodulation, digital line testing, VoIP arrangements, and PABX configurations. Technical diagrams, test arrangements, tables, and measurement concepts are explained to help you connect theoretical requirements with practical EMC testing activities.
