This course provides a complete practical guide to preparing Electrical Load Lists (User Lists) and Electrical Load Summaries using real EPC industry methodology followed in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Chemical, and Industrial projects. Unlike theoretical courses, this training focuses on real engineering deliverables used in actual projects. You will learn how to collect load data from different disciplines, develop a professional Electrical User List, classify loads based on duty and criticality, assign loads to switchboards, and calculate diversified plant demand.
The course explains the complete relationship between User Lists, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and Load Summaries. Students will learn how to calculate absorbed power, apparent power, reactive power, diversity factors, peak demand, and maximum running load. In addition, you will learn how to perform upstream and downstream load calculations, determine plant peak demand, and select appropriate ratings for transformers, switchgears, DG systems. The course also includes fully automated Excel-based tools and templates that can significantly reduce engineering effort and improve calculation accuracy.
