The ECU Repair and Service with Programming for Cars course provides hands-on training in the diagnosis, maintenance, repair, and programming of automotive Electronic Control Units. As modern vehicles depend heavily on electronic control systems, understanding ECU operation has become essential for automotive technicians, electricians, and workshop owners.
This course introduces students to the structure and function of ECUs, including power supply circuits, communication lines, sensors, actuators, memory chips, processors, and protection systems. Participants will learn how to identify common ECU failures caused by water damage, short circuits, overheating, poor wiring, voltage problems, and communication faults.
The training also covers practical ECU repair methods such as circuit testing, component replacement, soldering and desoldering, reading fault codes, checking signals, and using diagnostic tools. In addition, students will learn ECU programming techniques, including reading and writing ECU data, ECU cloning, backup creation, immobilizer matching, software updates, and safe handling of programming tools.
