Build a complete, production-grade e-commerce application from scratch using FastAPI for the backend and Vue for the frontend. This project-driven course is designed to take you far beyond basic CRUD operations, teaching you how to architect, secure, automate, and deploy a robust enterprise platform from the ground up.
On the backend, you will build a high-performance asynchronous API using modern Python standards, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and Alembic database migrations with support for both PostgreSQL (asyncpg) and MySQL (asyncmy). Security and identity management are core focal points of this course: you will implement secure authentication utilizing PyJWT, Argon2 password hashing via passlib and pwdlib, Google OAuth2 single sign-on using Authlib, and fine-grained Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to isolate permissions across distinct Customer, Admin, and Delivery personnel workflows.
Furthermore, you will integrate real-world third-party services to handle high-value operational tasks. You will connect the Stripe API for processing online checkout payments securely, utilize Jinja2 to build dynamic custom HTML email templates, and automate transactional messaging using asynchronous email transport (aiosmtplib). For media storage, you will leverage Amazon Web Services via boto3 to manage product uploads effortlessly.
