This beginner-friendly course is designed for anyone who is curious about perfume making and wants to understand how fragrances are created. You don’t need any previous experience in perfumery or formulation to get started. Throughout the course, you’ll explore the basic principles behind perfume creation, including fragrance notes, fragrance families, perfume structure, concentration, and the differences between pyramidal and linear fragrance designs.
You’ll also learn about the essential materials and equipment used in perfume making, how to evaluate fragrance materials using perfume testing strips, and how different fragrance materials can be combined to create a balanced composition. Most importantly, we’ll put the theory into practice. You’ll follow step-by-step demonstrations to create both a pyramidal perfume and a linear perfume, helping you understand two different approaches to fragrance design.
