This course offers learners an engaging introduction to the world of hybrid and electric vehicles, helping them understand how modern vehicle technologies are changing the future of transportation. Through this course, students will explore the key differences between hybrid vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles, and fully electric vehicles. They will learn how each type operates, what energy sources it uses, and how its main systems and components work together to deliver efficient and reliable performance.
Students will also gain a clear understanding of the advantages and limitations of each vehicle type. They will learn how to compare hybrid and electric vehicles in terms of energy consumption, maintenance requirements, emissions, environmental impact, performance, and cost efficiency. In addition, the course will help learners recognize the role of these vehicles in supporting sustainable transportation and reducing dependence on traditional fuel sources.
By the end of this course, students will be able to describe the basic principles of hybrid and electric vehicle technology, identify their major components, distinguish between different types of modern vehicles, and make informed comparisons based on technical, economic, and environmental factors.
