This course offers a comprehensive guide to managing the CGI pipeline for the marine industry, focusing on the integration between technical modeling and photorealistic output. The program addresses the process of importing yachts into 3ds Max, providing the necessary tools to master marine environment rendering and the development of complex materials. The objective is to enable students to produce both high-level static images and video animations by applying an optimized workflow that reduces render times without sacrificing detail quality.
The journey begins by analyzing the correct procedures for exporting models from Rhinoceros, ensuring that geometries are transferred to 3ds Max without errors while maintaining proper layer organization. It then delves into interface management and scene structuring to maximize operational efficiency. A central part of the course is dedicated to creating a hyper-realistic animated sea, studying simulation techniques to achieve natural water movement and consistent interaction with the hull surface.
