Color is one of the most powerful tools in interior design, but many people choose colors based only on personal preference without understanding how color actually affects mood, space, lighting, and human emotions. This course is designed to help you understand color in a much deeper and more practical way through the lens of interior design and psychology. In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of color theory in a simple and easy-to-understand way. We start with the basics like the color wheel, warm and cool colors, hue, tint, tone, and shade so you can build a strong foundation before moving into more advanced interior concepts.
You will also learn how color harmony works and why some color combinations feel balanced while others feel uncomfortable. The course explains how designers create visually pleasing interiors by controlling contrast, balance, and color relationships inside a space. A major focus of this course is color psychology. You will understand how different colors influence emotions, behavior, and atmosphere inside interiors. We will discuss the psychological effects of red, blue, yellow, orange, green, and neutral colors and how these colors can completely change the feeling of a room.
