This course is designed for Python developers and enthusiasts who want to learn how to build and run real tiny apps in Docker containers and on the cloud — without diving into complex Project & DevOps setups.
You’ll learn by doing: building small but functional tiny apps like web apps, cron jobs, and database-connected APIs, and then deploying them step-by-step — from your local machine to Docker, and finally deploying to the cloud. Along the way, you’ll gain practical experience in organizing projects, managing dependencies, and understanding container workflows. You’ll also discover how to debug issues and ensure your apps run smoothly across different environments.
No DevOps background? No problem. All you need is a basic experience and understanding of Python, Docker, and cloud platforms—plus a healthy dose of curiosity. You’ll explore how real-world challenges are broken down into modular solutions, see how different services communicate, and learn best practices for deploying lightweight Python applications reliably.
By the end, you’ll be able to confidently run your own apps anywhere, from local setups to serverless cloud environments, turning ideas into fully operational apps with ease. You’ll also gain the confidence to experiment with new projects and scale them incrementally, understanding exactly how small Python applications evolve into maintainable code using Docker and Containers.
