Most companies offer wellness, but far fewer make it stick. Participation is often low, engagement fades after launch, and leaders struggle to see ROI. This course fixes that by showing you how to design wellness programs people actually use, and how to prove their value.
Consider a few realities driving the urgency:
- Many organizations see low ongoing participation in wellness initiatives.
- Gallup and other surveys consistently report high daily stress and burnout.
- Companies that align wellness with culture and leadership behaviors see better retention and performance.
- Programs that track both ROI (costs, absenteeism) and VOI (engagement, morale) make stronger business cases.
What you’ll do in this course
You’ll learn a practical, step-by-step system, from needs assessment and legal guardrails to design, launch, engagement, and evaluation. We’ll cover mental, physical, social, financial, and purpose/career wellness; show you how to tailor programs across locations and cultures; and help you pick the right mix of tech, incentives, and human support. You’ll also see how organizations like Aetna approached mindfulness and sleep, and what you can adapt whether you’re a 50-person startup or a global enterprise.
You’ll learn how to:
- Build a credible business case that resonates with CFOs (ROI) and CHROs/CEOs (VOI).
- Design inclusive, multi-dimensional wellness programs aligned to real employee needs.
- Launch with momentum using clear branding, leadership modeling, and simple, sticky challenges.
- Sustain engagement with champions, authentic recognition, and a quarterly program cadence.
- Navigate U.S. and EU compliance (ADA, GINA, HIPAA, ACA, GDPR) without killing trust.
- Use platforms, apps, and wearables thoughtfully, privacy-first and friction-light.
- Measure what matters, iterate with confidence, and secure ongoing support.
By the end, you’ll have a strategic playbook, ready-to-use templates, and a measurement approach that ties wellness to outcomes leaders care about—productivity, retention, culture, and cost.
