Geometry Nodes can completely change the way you work in Blender. Instead of manually modeling and placing every object, you can build flexible systems that generate, scatter, modify, and control geometry procedurally, allowing you to create complex scenes while keeping your workflow non-destructive and customizable. In this project-based course, you’ll learn Geometry Nodes by creating a complete procedural flower environment from scratch.
We’ll begin by introducing the fundamentals of procedural systems and Geometry Nodes. You’ll learn how node trees work, build your first Geometry Nodes system, and understand one of the most important concepts in procedural workflows: working with instances. From there, you’ll start constructing the assets for your environment. You’ll create terrain with procedural scattering and model the flower center and petals that will become the foundation of your procedural flower system.
