Note: This is a project-based course taught through a real-world BIM project, focusing not only on software workflows but also on the real responsibilities of a BIM Coordinator.
- Are you a BIM Modeler who wants to become a BIM Coordinator but doesn’t know how to start?
- Is the use of different BIM software tools and their connection to BIM Coordinator responsibilities unclear to you?
- Do you want to clearly understand what a BIM Coordinator does in a real project and what reports are delivered to which stakeholders?
This course presents BIM Coordination as a structured project process rather than a software-only task. The workflow is explained based on ISO 19650, covering BIM roles, responsibilities, information planning with MIDP and TIDP, and the logic behind coordination decisions within a real project environment.
Using Revit and Navisworks, the course demonstrates how discipline models are prepared, checked, and combined into a Federated Model, followed by structured clash detection, Clash Matrix setup, Search Sets creation, and standardized clash reporting aligned with professional BIM coordination practices.
