This course is designed for beginners who want to learn Azure Automation and understand how to automate administrative and operational tasks in Microsoft Azure. It provides a clear and practical introduction to Azure Automation concepts, making it ideal for IT professionals, cloud administrators, and learners starting their Azure automation journey. The course begins with an introduction to Microsoft Azure Automation, explaining what automation is, why it is needed, and how Azure Automation helps reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and minimize errors. You will then move into Graphical Runbooks, which provide a low‑code approach to automation. These sections explain how to create, configure, and execute graphical runbooks step by step, making automation accessible even if you are new to scripting. The course also covers runbook parameters, helping you make your automation solutions more flexible and reusable by passing input values dynamically during execution.
Finally, you will learn about Azure Automation DSC (Desired State Configuration) and node configuration, which allow you to manage and maintain system configurations consistently across multiple machines. Throughout the course, concepts are explained in a beginner‑friendly manner with a focus on practical understanding. Practice tests are included to help reinforce learning and validate your knowledge of Azure Automation concepts.
