Welcome to the ultimate preparation course for the AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer – Associate (SOA-C03) exam. This course is meticulously designed for system administrators, CloudOps engineers, DevOps professionals, and anyone responsible for operating, managing, and monitoring workloads on the AWS platform. This certification validates your technical expertise in deployment, management, and operations on AWS.
As the successor to the SOA-C02, the SOA-C03 certification places a significant new emphasis on modern operations, especially container services like Amazon EKS (Kubernetes) and Amazon ECS. This course provides comprehensive coverage of all new topics and core concepts required to succeed.
We will dive deep into the practical, hands-on skills you must know. You will learn how to monitor and remediate issues using CloudWatch, automate operational tasks with Systems Manager, deploy applications (including containers), ensure high availability and business continuity, manage security and compliance, and optimize for cost and performance. This course is your complete, hands-on guide to mastering all six exam domains and earning the in-demand SOA-C03 certification.
[What You Will Master]
In this course, you will gain the practical, operational skills needed for the SOA-C03 exam:
- Implement Monitoring & Remediation: Master CloudWatch (Metrics, Alarms, Logs), CloudTrail, and AWS Config to monitor complex systems and automate responses to operational events.
- Deploy & Automate with Containers: Gain hands-on experience deploying, managing, and operating applications using Amazon ECS and Amazon EKS (Kubernetes)—a critical new focus of the SOA-C03.
- Master Deployment & Automation: Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with CloudFormation and automate operational tasks at scale using AWS Systems Manager (Patch Manager, Run Command).
- Ensure Reliability & Business Continuity: Configure high availability (Multi-AZ, Auto Scaling) and implement robust backup and disaster recovery (DR) strategies using AWS Backup and other services.
- Manage Security, Networking & Cost: Implement operational security with IAM, WAF, and Shield. Configure and troubleshoot VPCs, Route 53, and CloudFront. Identify and implement cost optimizations using AWS Budgets and Cost Explorer.
