This comprehensive course takes you from complete beginner to advanced user, guiding you step by step through the essential tools, techniques, and real-world workflows used across today’s design and engineering industries.
You’ll begin by building a solid foundation—exploring AutoCAD’s interface, navigation tools, and workspace setup—so you can work smoothly and efficiently. From there, you’ll dive into the core drawing commands, including lines, circles, arcs, and polylines, learning how to construct accurate geometry with ease.
As you progress, you’ll develop the ability to edit and refine your drawings using essential modification tools such as Trim, Offset, Mirror, and Rotate. You’ll also master the use of layers, object properties, and visibility controls, ensuring your drawings remain clean, organized, and fully production-ready.
Learn by Completing Three Real Projects:
- To help you apply your skills immediately, the course is structured around three practical, hands-on projects:
- 1. L-Shaped Bracket (Beginner Level): Create a simple mechanical part while learning the fundamental commands and gaining confidence in your drawing workflow.
- 2. Sprocket Design (Intermediate Level): Build a more complex component using intermediate tools and techniques, including array commands and precision geometry methods.
- 3. Complete Desk Furniture Plan (Advanced Level): Produce a full 2D furniture drawing set, including multiple elevations and sections—an essential skill for architectural, interior, and product design.
This course isn’t just about learning AutoCAD—it’s about learning how to design like a professional. Along the way, I’ll share the tips, tricks, and best practices I’ve gained from years of experience in the design industry, helping you work smarter and create drawings that stand out.
By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills and confidence to produce high-quality 2D technical drawings suitable for engineering, architecture, manufacturing, and a wide range of professional applications.
