We’re surrounded by computers, entertaining us, solving large problems, and organizing our lives. Thankfully, I truly believe that anyone can code! In this course, we’ll talk about what programming even is and how it’s used. I’ll talk about the fundamentals that exist regardless of language or industry. You’ll learn about key terms like variables, loops, objects, logic, and functions. Hopefully, it’ll spark your interest and make you want to start playing with code yourself!
Once you start, I’ve got lots of tips and tricks to help you along the way. How can you ask for help with a complicated programming issue? How do you not get overwhelmed with large projects? What’s the best way to organize code – for now and for yourself or for others later? How can we make sure our code is running efficiently? These are just a few of the things we’ll discuss.
Once you begin, you’ll realize how big the world of coding really is, and instead of that being overwhelming, it’ll be exciting and empowering! No matter what your interests are, you can find a way to get computers working for and with you to further your goals and get rid of tedious tasks. Why not start today!
