Learn how to build 4 fun and interactive Android games using MIT App Inventor, even if you have little or no previous programming experience. In this practical, project-based course, you will learn by building games from scratch rather than simply watching theory. You will work with MIT App Inventor’s visual programming environment to create complete game projects, understand how the different components work together, and learn how to use blocks to control game behavior and user interactions. The goal of this course is simple: build 4 different games in approximately 1 hour while learning the fundamentals of Android game development with MIT App Inventor.
MIT App Inventor is a beginner-friendly platform that allows you to create Android applications using a visual block-based programming system. It is an excellent way to understand programming concepts, app development, user interface design, events, variables, conditions, and game logic without needing to start with traditional text-based programming languages. Throughout the course, you will follow step-by-step demonstrations and build the projects along with the instructor. By the end of the course, you will have built 4 Android game projects using MIT App Inventor and gained hands-on experience with visual programming and game development.
