When you truly master light, you can capture gorgeous images outdoors and create beautiful light indoors without fail – even if you are working with a celebrity who only has a few minutes to spare.
As a photographer, you must see light differently than an ordinary person because you need to understand how your camera sees it. In this ultimate lighting course, celebrity photographer Matthew Jordan Smith teaches you how to master light, so that you can get great photos every single time.
Matthew Jordan Smith has made a career making people look beautiful, and much of that look has come from how he approaches lighting his subjects. In his Celebrity Lighting course, Smith shares his unique approach for lighting his subjects and guides you through the process of learning photography lighting.
You’ll discover how to see light that will naturally give you beautiful images, and you’ll learn how to recreate that light and produce cinematic lighting effects in the studio, using different types of light modifiers, strobe lights, and constant lights. During the training, Smith shows you how to work with the tools that helped him become one of the most sought-after photographers of our time. And you’ll learn how to create a consistent lighting style to make your images stand out from the rest.
Matthew Jordan Smith has created images for Oprah, Angelina Jolie, Zendaya, Britney Spears, Samuel L. Jackson, and countless others. His work can be seen in museums around the world, including the National Museum of African American History and Culture and the Awagami permanent collection in Tokushima, Japan. He is the only photographer in the world ever commissioned by the International Olympic Committee to create portraits of athletes and live with them during the Olympic games.
