Learn how to find the best strategies to succeed with video content as a business or an individual creator
Whether you’re an individual creator or a business, creating video content is absolutely crucial for success. Video is becoming the major type of content on the internet, and “vertical videos” like on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts are growing exponentially.
The beauty of these platforms is that they are the best ones for organic reach, meaning that your videos will be shown to an audience even if you don’t have any followers. And if your videos are particularly great, they can even go viral.
In this course you will learn a method to uncover the best practices and strategies from creators in your niche. Because of the size of these platforms and the variety of videos that you can find there, it is not possible to teach a “one size fits all” method that explains how to succeed. Each individual niche is different, audiences expect various approaches from creators they follow, and some patterns emerge. This course will teach you a process to detect those patterns by reverse-engineering them, and this will allow you to apply them to your own content.
The first section of the course explains the reverse-engineering method by using a YouTube creator as an example. The second section is more for businesses, how to expand the content beyond one platform and one format by reverse-engineering the content strategy of your competitors. And finally, the third section shows the reverse-engineering method in practice with more examples per platform (Instagram, TikTok…).
