This photography basics class for beginners is for everyone who wants to learn photography. I think everyone should be able to take amazing photos and that is why I have created this class
If you’ve never picked up a camera before, this class takes you from rookie to understanding it all.
One of the most confusing things when trying to learn how to take great photos are all the technical terms and details, that are not really important for learning the skill – so I decided to take all of that out and focus on teaching you how to work a camera and what to be aware of.
You don’t need a camera to take this class, you can use your smartphone for the class project. There is even a lesson helping you choose your first camera. Having a camera is a pro though but definitely not necessary.
In the class we will go through the following:
- The class project
- Choosing the right camera
- Basic settings
- Light
- Shutter speed
- Aperture
- ISO
- The exposure triangle
- Getting ready to shoot
- Lenses

- Bonus: Landscape photography tips
- Bonus: Portrait photography tips
- Bonus: Product photography tips
- A recap of the entire class
