In this course, learn how to leverage Bluebeam Revu for accurate and efficient digital takeoffs. Instructor Jim Rogers begins by covering the essentials—setting scales, changing units, and organizing documents with bookmarks, layers, and spaces. Next, Jim explores creating custom tools, using drawing versus property modes, and applying multiple scales on a single page through viewports. Learn to measure lengths, areas, and volumes; handle slopes; utilize dynamic fill; and count take-offs faster with visual search. The course also delves into using the Markup List to add pricing columns, export quantities, and link data directly to Excel. Finally, discover how to slip-sheet revised drawings, perform sheet comparisons to identify changes, and confidently move on to the next steps of your projects.
