Expense and Income Categories: You’ll list all your expense categories such as rent, transportation, student loans, etc. You’ll then list all your income sources. Take some time to really think this through. The more accurate it is, the better.
Summary and Charts: The second step is to summarize your spending habits and use charts to visualize exactly where your money is being spent. This is the best way to determine where to improve and cut down on unnecessary spending.
Formatting: Finally, you’ll learn how to format the spreadsheet to make it look clean and easy to use so that you can get the best out of it.
If you’re a complete beginner with no experience with Excel, we’ll ease you in with some basic fundamentals. If you’re an intermediate/expert, hopefully, you’ll find something that’s useful and valuable.
By the end of this course, you’ll have a complete budget and will be ready to start tracking your spending while you work towards a savings goal.
So thanks for stopping by!
