Hello and welcome to my new course, how to paint gold and silver in Procreate.
Whatever you decide to paint, now and then you’ll have a need to paint metals. Whether it’s jewellery, containers, utensils, even a metallic car. Knowing how to paint metal is a handy skill.
Gold and copper have warm tones and use different techniques to silver for example.
Silver and polished chrome and even some coloured polished metals are all about reflections as in a mirror.
I’ll show you how to look at polished metals to get an authentic look to your illustration.
I’m including in the class resources a base painted item for colour picking and the finished item to show the screens that give the metal feel.
I’m sure that you will discover tips and techniques new to you with my unique process.
I would love to see your creations uploaded to the class projects section for everyone to appreciate.
Finally please leave a review as it lets me know where I need to improve and give me encouragement to keep producing new courses.
Also a reminder to tap the follow button above so I can notify you of new classes.
