Description
- FloorGen Tools is a powerful workflow extension designed to unlock the full potential of FloorGenerator inside Autodesk 3ds Max. Built specifically for architectural visualization artists, interior designers, and 3D professionals, this toolkit simplifies the process of creating realistic tile, wood, and panel layouts on virtually any surface — from flat floors to walls, stairs, curved structures, and complex geometry.
- While FloorGenerator is already one of the most popular procedural flooring plugins for 3ds Max, working with advanced surfaces often requires additional adjustments, manual UV corrections, and time-consuming alignment work. FloorGen Tools eliminates these obstacles with a smart collection of utilities that give artists faster control, cleaner results, and a far more flexible workflow.
- The toolkit introduces advanced transform controls such as local offsets, rotation, scaling, and pivot adjustments, allowing users to fine-tune pattern placement with precision. Alignment and flip tools make it easy to mirror layouts, correct direction flow, and maintain visual consistency across surfaces. Whether you are designing tiled bathroom walls, herringbone stair patterns, or detailed exterior cladding, the tools help maintain seamless alignment while reducing repetitive manual work.
