Build a stronger foundation in fabric drawing with Evanlee Fabric Folds Training Camp – Season 1 2025, a focused illustration course designed to help artists understand, analyze, and confidently paint cloth folds. Led by Taiwanese concept artist Evan Lee, this training camp focuses on one of the most important fundamentals in character and costume illustration: fabric structure. Through structured practice and targeted demonstrations, students learn how to observe fold logic, simplify complex cloth forms, understand tension and gravity, and apply fold patterns to character design and illustration work.
The course is especially useful for artists who struggle with clothing, drapery, costume details, and believable fabric flow. By studying how cloth reacts to body movement, hanging points, compression, stretching, and layered forms, learners can improve both their sketching accuracy and final rendering quality. With a practice-based format and a 40-day drawing check-in challenge, the course encourages consistent improvement and disciplined study. It is suitable for beginner to intermediate artists who want to strengthen their fundamentals, make their character clothing more convincing, and develop a clearer visual language for folds, fabric weight, and costume design.
Whether you are working on anime-style characters, concept art, or digital illustration, this course offers a practical path to mastering fabric folds and creating more polished, professional-looking artwork.
